Lara Hoke

Program Associate
Lara Hoke has a background in fundraising, nonprofit administration, and arts education. Prior to joining the La Piana team, Lara worked at BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange, a community based multi-arts nonprofit and was a founding member of Madarts Studios, an artist collective in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
As Membership Associate at the Oakland Museum of California, Lara gained extensive experience in complex constituent relationship management systems, program analysis, and event planning. In addition, positions as a lab technician at Rockefeller University and as a legal assistant at the law firm of Arnold & Porter LLP, have contributed to Lara's rich knowledge and experience across sectors.
Lara received her B.F.A. from Carnegie Mellon University where she developed her passion for nonprofit arts administration while working as Business Manager at the Frame, a student-run nonprofit art gallery.
A figurative realist painter, Lara has exhibited internationally. She has received several prominent portrait commissions including Paul Mellon and Theresa Heinz Kerry.
