Meet Brenda, one of our Associate Consultants.

 

Brenda de Santiago (she/her) is an artist, tinkerer, questioner, and listener. She draws from her own and others’ lived experiences to inform her work, always centering her clients and their constituent voices and needs. She values openness and collaboration, viewing every project as an opportunity to partner with her clients. She also weaves her creative practice throughout her projects, applying an innovative lens to her work. Brenda is fluent in Spanish.

Previously, Brenda was a Program Assistant at Inner-City Arts and a Client Services Assistant at PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support), both in Los Angeles. She has also worked in several college library positions including as the Assistant Director for Programs and Projects at Colby College, Administrative Library Coordinator at Rhode Island School of Design, and Assistant to the Director & Librarian at Brown University’s John Carter Brown Library.

 

Impact Approach

Brenda is passionate about working with organizations that improve and support the communities they serve. She has experience working with arts organizations, academic institutions, and complex projects that require the ability to hold both the micro and macro perspectives at the same time.

Outside of Work

When not working, Brenda enjoys spending time with her family, maintaining her creative practice, and wandering through library archives.
