Madison McAleese

Madison (she/her) helps deliver high-value consulting projects to our clients, often serving as the primary communications hub for projects and ensuring excellent customer service. She specializes in project management, research, and writing and editing. Her ability to manage complex projects and deliver quality work products contributes to clients’ confidence and overall success. Her focus at La Piana is on strategy development, governance, and mergers and alliances. She has a Certificate in Nonprofit Consulting from BoardSource.

Madison graduated with a Master’s in Public Diplomacy at University of Southern California, and with a Bachelor’s in Communication and a minor in Political Science from California Lutheran University. She also studied European economics and language in Paris.

She spent two years working in public relations in Los Angeles and New York City before deciding to pursue a graduate degree. Since then, Madison has worked in communications at the Pacific Council on International Policy and was a Fellow at both the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy at the U.S. Department of State and the USC Center on Public Diplomacy.

Madison also has a Master’s Degree in Christian Studies and is pursuing a Doctorate in Social Transformation to study the intersection of faith communities, social justice, and anti-oppression work.

Madison is a 2022 New Leaders Council Institute Fellow and a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy. She serves on the Board of Directors of Elevate Burbank, a local nonprofit dedicated to promoting the appreciation and awareness of diversity and inclusion in the community, in addition to serving on the Board of Burbank Pride. She is based in Burbank, California.
