Lara is committed to helping mission-driven organizations increase their impact. With expertise in nonprofit collaboration and data-driven analysis, she partners with clients to solve complex issues and achieve sustainable results. Lara is an experienced leader who understands the challenges executives face and the importance of answering these with a blend of passion and pragmatism. Her past consulting clients include HealthSpark Foundation, Denver Shared Spaces, the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation, the Western New York Human Services Collaborative, and Urban Land Conservancy.

Prior to joining La Piana Consulting, Lara served as executive director of the Nonprofit Centers Network, where she also held the position of national programs director. She has been the principal of her own nonprofit management consultancy and was executive director at Mile High Community Loan Fund. Lara has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and an undergraduate degree in economics and regional science and Japanese from the University of Pennsylvania.
