Meet Luis,
one of our Partners.
Luis Vergara (he/him/el) approaches his practice having been heavily influenced by his professional journey related to social justice, diversity, equity, and his personal experience of being raised in an immigrant household by a single parent. Luis has worked with all types of organizations during his consulting career, but is particularly interested in working with organizations that have a specific interest in better serving the community and the world through more equitable offerings and lifting marginalized voices.
Luis has a background in both marketing and nonprofit management, giving him a unique perspective and set of skills to share with clients. Prior to joining La Piana in 2006, Luis was a Strategic Director at national research and strategy firm Cheskin. He also served as Executive Director of Youth Radio and as Senior Policy Associate with Safe Passages.
